Chinese exhibitors shine at North America's leading dietary supplement expo

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- More than 500 Chinese companies took part in North America's leading dietary supplement expo held in the U.S. city of Las Vegas, marking the largest Chinese presence on record.

The Chinese exhibitors showcased a wide range of health and nutrition ingredients, dietary supplements, as well as organic foods at the event named SupplySide Global.

A two-day China Brand initiative was launched as part of the 2025 SupplySide Global expo, highlighting China's latest achievements in health product ingredients, research and development, production technologies, digital trade platforms and others.

Co-organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE), the initiative provides a platform for global buyers to source high-quality health products from China.

According to the CCCMHPIE, China's nutrition and health industry has demonstrated strong resilience and steady growth in recent years. In the first half of 2025, China's exports of nutritional and health products reached 2.25 billion U.S. dollars, up 9.9 percent year on year.

The United States remains one of the world's largest markets for pharmaceutical and health product ingredients and is among the major export destinations for Chinese health product ingredients.

The Chinese companies account for about one-third of all exhibitors -- second only to U.S. domestic enterprises.
