Bonsai grows into big industry in Yifeng city, E China's Jiangxi

In recent days, local farmers have been busy selling bonsais through livestreaming in Dongcao village, Tong'an township, Yifeng county, Yichun city, Jiangxi Province. Bonsai planting is an integral industry in the village, with more than 80 percent of the local villagers engaged in the industry. At present, there are 36 bonsai plantations in Dongcao village. A total of 420,000 bonsais are sold each year, generating total annual sales of more than 10 million yuan ($1.42 million).
