Rainbow appears over Hukou Waterfall on Yellow River

| Photo shows a rainbow over the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River in Yichuan county, northwest China's Shaanxi Province. The Yellow River enters the flood season from July to October every year, with water flowing at a rate of around 2,000 cubic meters a second at Hukou Waterfall. The rushing water produces ample water vapor, and when the sunlight hits the droplets, a rainbow will usually appear. (Photo/Huo Yong) |
