Established on May 28, 2018, and officially opened to the public on Jan 9, 2019, the Hotan Night Market is one of the biggest night markets in southern Xinjiang. The night market is a food paradise for tourists who flock to the venue to devour a variety of Xinjiang's local cuisines and to capture a taste of the region’s renowned flavors. Hundreds of stalls serve a wide selection of exuberant local delicacies, including staples such as Nang – a traditional Uygur flatbread. It is also a must-visit venue for locals who are in the hunt for late-night snacks. Open 365 days a year, the Hotan Night Market is always abuzz with foodies, an urban enclave that boosts the development of the local tourism industry, increases rates of local employment and promotes the street vendor economy in Hotan.
