Twenty-four years since its inception, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has emerged as an organization of increasing influence and global recognition. This year, it convenes the largest-ever summit in its birthplace, China. President Xi Jinping chaired the summit in the port city of Tianjin on Sunday and Monday.
