Yan'an Red Half Marathon set for September in NW China's Shaanxi

XI'AN, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- The 2025 Yan'an Red Half Marathon will be held on Sept. 21 in Yan'an, a former revolutionary base in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

"Runners can register through the official website or Qujiang event's WeChat public platform from Aug. 14 to 19," read an official announcement released on Thursday. "A total of 8,000 competitors will be selected to participate in the event."

According to the organizers, the race route will pass several historic sites, including the Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall, Yangjialing and Date Garden.
