2025 digital intelligence health innovation application competition opens

The 2025 digital intelligence health innovation application competition recently kicked off in China.

The competition's theme has expanded from "digital intelligence empowering a healthy Guangxi" to "digital intelligence empowering a healthy China." By addressing nationwide pain points and needs in the health sector, it aims to draw innovative wisdom and expertise from across the China-ASEAN region, offering digital health solutions with broad applicability and injecting strong momentum into the collaborative development of China's health industry.

The competition features scientific, diverse, and comprehensive segments. In the digital medical innovation category, new focus areas include intelligent tiered diagnosis and treatment and cross-border medical care. In the pharmaceutical services category, added themes include innovative drug and device research and development and non-clinical trial research.

A newly introduced specialized medical services category highlights the integration of AI with natural medicine. It spans fields such as rehabilitation medicine, thalassemia diagnosis and treatment, maternal and child healthcare, medical humanities, and natural medicine and wellness.

This category seeks to establish an ASEAN-oriented "AI + Natural Medicine" integrated medical system that meets diverse health needs while fostering deep integration of the health industry with sectors such as culture and tourism.
