China strongly condemns school bus attack in Pakistan: FM spokesperson
BEIJING, May 22 (Xinhua) -- China firmly condemns a school bus attack in Pakistan and strongly opposes terrorism in all its forms, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said in Beijing on Thursday.
It is reported that five people, including three children, were killed and over 30 others injured when terrorists attacked a school bus in Khuzdar district of the southwestern Balochistan province in Pakistan on Wednesday. In response, spokesperson Mao Ning told a daily news briefing that China expressed deep condolences to the victims and extended sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and the injured.
She said China steadfastly opposes terrorism in all its forms and will continue to firmly support Pakistan in combating terrorism, maintaining social stability and protecting people's lives and safety.
