On June 8, the Signing Ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the Xiangyang Municipal People's Government and Hubei Exi Eco-Culture Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. (ECOTIC) was held at Nanhu Hotel. Liu Jungang, Chairman and General Manager of ECOTIC and Qie Yingcai, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Xiangyang Municipal Committee and Mayor of the Xiangyang Municipal People's Government attended and addressed the ceremony.

Under the agreement, ECOTIC will give play to its advantage as a provincial tourism investment and financing platform, and invest some 10 billion yuan in Xiangyang with the concept of all-for-one tourism, to advance the strategic development of Xiangyang's tourism resources. In the coming five years, ECOTIC will focus on building a number of projects, including Three Kingdoms cultural campsite, flower sea, east parking lot of the tourist center, slideway upgrading and renovation, Zhuge Liang rural complex and characteristic homestay hotel.
