Yunnan Baiyao and Jiahua Flowers Pastry each fetched over 1 million yuan in sales on November 11, and Longrun Group registered a daily turnover of over 10 million yuan, making it the top firm on the e-commerce sales list of Yunnan. By 4 p.m. on Nov. 11, Yunnan had achieved a total e-commerce turnover of 760 million yuan.

Pu'er and Yuxi have intended to follow suit. As a border region inhabited by ethnic minority groups and with a lot of own products such as fungi, characteristic highland agricultural products, and ethnic handicrafts, Yunnan badly needs e-commerce as an emerging business platform to sell its products.
